[44:06] 美国建国时并没有任期限制 但是首任总统华盛顿高风亮节 担任两届总统后就坚决退休 所以后来者也就约定俗成地只任两届 格罗弗·克利夫兰是美国唯一一个卸任后重选再度当选的总统 他是第22任和第24任总统 都只任了一届 但到了富兰克林·罗斯福的时候 因为他影响很大 又遇上二战 所以当他两届任期结束后决定继续做总统时 并没有遇到太多阻力 他的支持者称 他继续担任总统是为了战争需要 罗斯福四次胜选 但是最后一次被选上后不久就因病去世 他的行为被认为是对民主制度的威胁 于是国会在1944年通过了宪法第22条修正案 规定总统最多只能任两届 在副总统中途继位的情况下 也最多只能担任10年
